People Awards
Nominations will open in June for our People Awards and we want to hear your stories. Do you know someone who deserves recognition? You may have a touching story to share with us. We want to hear from you and acknowledge and reward the great people we have amongst us.
The People Awards are there to honour midwifes, consultants, nurses, parents and child heroes along with many more. This year we have added three new People Awards; Mum of the Year, Dad of the Year and Grandparent/s of the Year.

Supportive, inspirational and positive are just some of the traits we find in the mums of today. It can mean juggling so many things- kids, housework, work and cooking to name a few and we want to recognise this hard work and commitment, so tell us about your friend, wife or mother!

Do you know someone who deserves recognition for being a great Dad? We want to hear about fathers who dedicate their time to their kids, go that extra mile to spend quality time with their children through any challenges they may face. Tell us about the great dads you know.
GRANDPARENT/S OF THE YEAR - New!
We are looking for inspirational Grandparents who have worked tirelessly for their grandchildren, who may have assisted in raising the children and who have had a positive influence on these kids through quality time spent with them. We want to celebrate how important Grandparents are to family life.

Running a business isn't easy, especially when you have to contend with sleepless nights, new babies and toddler tantrums also. Tell us your story on how you or a friend fits their hectic business schedule around being a full time parent.

Guiding you through your pregnancy, your obstetrician is often a very reassuring presence in the run up to your child's birth. Tell us all about your obstetrician and the important role he/she played in bringing your child into the world.

YOUNG ACHIEVER

All talents warrant recognition. Any child up to the age of 10 who has an exceptional talent can be nominated in this category. Whether it is in the field of sport, music, art, dance or something unusual, we want to hear your story!
SWEETEST MOMENT OF THE YEAR
We all get a little snap happy when the kids are around as we try to capture their every move - first smile, first step, first day at school. We want to see those special moments captured. The lucky child of the winning shot will be on the front cover of the maternity & infant magazine- all photos must have been taken within the last 3 months (aged 2-5)
LITTLE CHAMPION OF THE YEAR

We want to recognise a child who has acted courageously, showed maturity/initiative beyond his/her years during a traumatic incident or called 999 or the ambulance in an emergency. If you have a touching story then we need to hear it.
CHILD HERO OF THE YEAR
